Metrology Services Provided
3D Laser Scanning
Laser scanning is a fast and accurate method to measure parts and objects of different shapes. Our equipment is portable, has an accuracy of 0.03 mm, a resolution of 0.05 mm and can measure parts of any size.
GD&T Inspection
We provide geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) inspections based on different standards such as ASME Y14.5 2009 and ISO. These inspections are performed in the context of first article inspection (FAI) and recurring quality control.
Geometric Problem Solving
We assist manufacturers at many steps in their manufacturing process: CAD design, modeling, quality control, equipment maintenance and in-house modifications. Information is key, and we provide meaningful measurements to improve lead time.
Why choose us
Quick Turnaround
3D scanning inspections are faster than probing in many situations. They even more efficient for recurring inspections, since complex measurements can be automated.
Skilled Team
Our team is experienced in metrology, GD&T and 3D scanning. We also develop our own inspection methods to provide high-value offers.
Reliable and Traceable
The 3D scanners we use are not user dependent. They are certified to be up to 0.030 mm accuracy at resolutions up to 0.1 mm. The data can be archived and reviewed in the future.
Improve your current process
Reports Anyone can Read
3D scanning inspections are very visual: you can clearly understand what is happening to your part without having to look at numbers. Consequently, it speeds up quality control meetings and facilitate the corrective action plan, making everything clear for machine operators.
Trustworthy Methods
The globalization of the manufacturing market had the consequence of making it more competitive. Many customers request tighter tolerances and rigorous validation methods. 3D scan inspections are better received than probing for 2 reasons: they cannot be tricked and the method offers a full coverage of the part, instead of just a sampling.
Universal Formats
We work with many standard file formats such as STL, OBJ and point clouds. Consequently, we can import and process 3D data made from any 3D recording instrument. Results can be delivered in many standards formats and easily adapted to your current tools.
